What To BringThe emphasis of life on board your gulet is 'casual'. All linens, bed sheets and towels are provided. Sun glasses and a Sun Hat are essential as is a pair of good walking shoes for visiting historical sites and trekking. And don't forget your swimming gear! Usually light clothing is sufficient but in May and October a sweater or windproof jacket may be required. Average temperatures in May are 24 degrees Centigrade rising to 40 degrees Centigrade in August and falling to 25 degrees Centigrade in October.
Passports, Visas and InnoculationsTo enter Turkey you will require a full passport with a validity of no less than 6 months after the end of your holiday. UK passport holders are required to purchase a visa on arrival at the airport in Turkey, currently costing £10. US passport holders can purchase a visa in advance via the nearest Turkish Consulate or on arrival at the airport in Turkey, currently costing $20 for a single entry. The UK Department of Health presently indicates that you do not require any specific innoculations for the parts of Turkey covered by the Classical Lycian Experience.
